Canister Checker

Conduct inspection of the fuel vapor emission control device in a short time.

There are inspection items related to the fuel evaporative gas emission control device in vehicle inspections, such as "clogging or damage of the charcoal canister" and "function of the check valve of the fuel evaporative gas emission control device." However, due to reasons such as "ambiguous criteria for determining clogging," "inability to unify inspection procedures due to different structures for each vehicle type," and "difficulty accessing the canister body," inspection time is prolonged. In particular, for in-tank charcoal canisters, the removal and reinstallation of the rear seat is required, significantly increasing the work time. The canister checker connects to the included fuel cap adapter and accommodates both pressurization and negative pressure (suction) using air, which reduces work time and significantly alleviates the burden on workers during inspections.
